Celite Usage
1. Diatomaceous earth is used as a filter for synthetic resins, chemical fibers, dyes, coatings, solvents, acids, electrolytes, glycerin, etc., carrier for fertilizers and pesticides, ideal filler for plastics, rubber, and insecticides, and sulfur recovery. A filter aid for sodium cyanate, an activated carbon for decolorization in a nylon solution, an anti-caking agent for ammonium nitrate pellets, and the like. Also widely used in light industry, food, medicine, building materials, petroleum, paper, environmental protection and other departments.
2. Mainly used as insulation materials, chemical fillers and carriers.
